Our SOBA America family was, once again stricken by the cold hands of death on December 19th, 2023 when SOBAN # 3519, Stephen Mangwa of the 1983 class, died. SOBAN Mangwa died in Houston after a protracted illness.
He leaves behind his wife Natty, his daughter Ariella, who is just 5 years old, his family, classmates, and friends to mourn his death.
SOBAN Mangwa was a registered member of SOBA America in good standing and lived in Houston. As a registered member in good standing, SOBA Mangwa is entitled to the SOBA America death benefit, which includes our final farewell protocol during his funeral.
I called his wife and extended our condolences on behalf of SOBA America. Please keep his family in your prayers during this difficult time. We will share more information about his funeral as it becomes available.
